1. Who we are

Sparkden is a free, altruistic personal project.

2. Core principles

• No accounts — you will never be asked to register or log in.
• No ads — we do not show advertising and do not sell ad space or user profiles.
• No sale of personal data — ever.
• Play on device — game progress stays on the device when stored at all.

3. What data we process

• Website: minimal server access logs (e.g. IP, user agent, path) for security and debugging, retained only as long as needed. We do not use advertising cookies or invasive analytics on the landing site.
• App: no account data. Optional local save of game state on your device only. We do not operate a user database for Sparkden gameplay.
• Support email: whatever you choose to write to us, used only to reply.
• App stores: Apple and Google process install/download data under their own policies when you use their stores.

4. Why we process it

• Serve the website and app (legitimate interest / providing the free service).
• Answer support messages (legitimate interest).
• Security of the servers (legitimate interest).

5. Retention

Server logs are rotated in the normal course of operations. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Uninstalling the app removes on-device game data (aside from any store-level records held by Apple/Google).

6. Recipients

• Hosting: OVH (EU) for this website.
• Apple / Google if you download from their stores.
• Public authorities only if legally required.

7. International transfers

The website is hosted in the EU. If we ever use a non-EEA provider for the site, we will apply GDPR-appropriate safeguards.

8. Children

Sparkden is made for young children with adult supervision. We do not require personal data from children to play. Adults are responsible for the device.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable, by emailing privacy@sparkden.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish AEPD (aepd.es) or your local authority.
